The Crash of 2006

Ignore all of the finger pointing on both sides of the aisle. It all comes down to one word: greed. Greed on the part of homeowners, home buyers, mortgage loan companies, banks, and investors - whose reckless abandon for MORE - more house, more profit, more NOW - drove the market into an unsupportable stratosphere. I know you are thinking "Crash of 2006? Isn't it 2007?" Well, actually, this all started in the Fall of 2006 when the real estate bubble burst. It has taken this long for it to work its havoc through the rest of the economy. And, it will continue for quite some time.

Happy Birthday, America! After 238 years of Independence what our founding fathers created is still just as miraculous as it was on July 4, 1776. May God continue to bless our great nation with Power, Peace, and Prosperity so that its citizens may forge a common bound and live in a land marked by liberty and equality for all.

Memorial To Those Who Died So We Might Be Free

This Memorial Day Weekend as we barbeque with family and friends, enjoying our many blessings, it would be fitting to remember and honor those who served and perished so that we may live in freedom. From the heights of Breed’s Hill to the fields of Gettysburg, and from the shores of Normandy to the mountain passes of Afghanistan, the American soldier has made the ultimate sacrifice so that we may live in a nation in which all citizens are granted liberty, equality, and justice.
